Yikes	Alright...this is sort of embarrassing, but I need some peace of mind. I recently had unprotected oral sex with a guy. And I swallowed...bad, yes I know. So I guess my question is..what all can I catch from that? I've been doing some online research, but all the sites I've been to are very vague when it comes to oral. I'd appreciate any help I could get on this!
ellybelly	You can catch herpes, gonnorhea and syphillis -- you can get candida, or thrush, and you may have exposed yourself to HIV. Honey baby, I realize we have reached the Age of Nothing Scares Me Anymore, but please, please, AIDS and HIV are still a risk factor, especially for women -- ESPECIALLY for women of color. Don't be doing the old exchange of bodily fluids with a man whose sexual pedigree you don't know. Get tested. Get your honey tested. And if you just want to fuck around, use condoms... It's so easy. Yikes	I made an appointment at the student health center today. I know it was a stupid thing to do. I will never get drunk again. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
ellybelly	It's very good that you are going to the health clinic, very responsible of you. The chances are overwhelmingly against you having picked up any of the above, but since you never know, better safe than sorry. One more word of caution -- venereal warts (which are a bitch and a half, are painful and ugly and potentially disfiguring) are highly contagious and have been linked to the development of cervical cancer later. Use condoms if you are not in a monogamous relationship. For many more reasons than AIDS... (I do. It ain't that big a deal. And girls, buy a box your own self so there's none of that, Oh man, heat of passion, don't have one, we'll be careful bullshit. You have a right and a responsibility to protect your health. Insist he wear it.)
Shayne	Right on... and any guy who flat-out refuses pretty clearly doesn't have your best interests at heart, and that should be a big clue about his general disposition and personality. Watch for those big red flags, they usually mean just what you think they do.
Yikes	Hey people!! I'm fine! I just got back from the student health center, and everything is SUPER!! So I'm feeling incredibly relieved right now!!
